Getting Your Sh*t Together for 2023

Hello everyone, we are in 2023! Happy New Year! 2023 wow, that’s crazy to say, but we’re here. This blog post is to help you Get Your Sh*t Together this year. Especially, if you have goals and things you wanted to do but haven’t gotten done. 2023 is the year to do all of that!

First, get a physical or digital planner, and write those ideas, plans, or goals out. Physical planners are between $5-$15. Digital planners are for the most part free. There are a lot of writing apps online and in the app store/play store. Sit and write down the things you want to do and break them down into smaller daily goals. Also, for all appointments and/or meetings, write on a calendar. Check them off as you go.

Secondly, start a routine. Morning/Daily/Night routines help you to build discipline through good, healthy habits. Start your days earlier, pray, meditate, journal, exercise, and stick to your medicine schedule if you are on medicine. Change eating habits if you want to lose a few pounds or just feel better, but make sure you consult your doctor first.

Lastly, make time for yourself. Do things that make you happy. Go on dates with yourself. Enjoy time with friends. Read a book. Pick up a new hobby. Set up Mani/Pedi dates, or learn a new language. Just something for you that can offset work and be your relief when work gets overwhelming.
